What is your ideal Refrigerator size?

With a tape measure, find the width, depth, and height of the space where your new fridge will sit. Remember to leave 25 mm of free space around the top, back and sides to let the heat escape.

Measure clearance (entryways, doorways, etc.) to ensure that the new one will fit safely in the home when delivered and that you can safely remove your old fridge.

Opt for the largest fridge-freezer that comfortably fits your kitchen space and budget. Holding onto your old one to accommodate increased demand is a misconception. Older fridges are notably less energy-efficient, and a new, larger model with some additional capacity will likely consume less energy than an older, smaller one.
